PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOP
An event in local language dedicated to professionals from the agri-food sector from RIS regions in Italy, Portugal, Greece, Poland and Slovakia based on highly professional expert seminars on the following topics: ancient cereals, medicinal plants and technological and market aromatic herbs prospects; sensor monitoring and digital agriculture used for plant cultivation; business models evolution for farmers in rural areas. The workshop will help the participants to foster, to gain (or re-gain) skills, techniques and know-how aimed at revitalizing the cultivation of ancient/almost vanished varieties of cereals, medicinal plants and aromatic herbs. The aim of the activity is also to bring knowledge about sustainable innovative farming techniques as well as on innovative tools and machinery for agriculture digitalization and production yield increase.
